A local couple will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary in the next couple of days and they’re in for a surprise. After 40 years in Hillsdale they now live in retirement on the north coast and, as such won’t see the Southern Courier so the surprise won’t be spoiled. Madge and Philip Charlier celebrate their milestone on August 18 and I would reckon the family has something in store for them. To both Madge and Philip we add our congratulations to the family’s for this special occasion.
