Daceyville 100th set for Spring

After studying the long range weather forecasts for July and August, Daceyville’s birthday celebrations have been rescheduled for Spring – September is looking like the best month with little rain predicted at this time. And spring will be a very appropriate time to celebrate Sydney’s first Garden Suburb’s 100th birthday. We can perhaps merge Daceyville’s 100th year with our Garden Competition’s 25th year with a special category. The organisers are back at work putting everything in place, so I will keep you informed through my column,  here and look out for more information in your letterboxes. I would like to thank to all those residents who have taken the time to express their support for the celebrations, their disappointment at the cancellation and their encouragement to try again.
