Sydney Water closes Sutherland Street 3 weeks

Sydney Water has advised they are undertaking emergency works in Sutherland Street, Mascot, between King Street and Hollingshed Street following a severe failure of the sewer line which has caused the road to collapse. The works are major and will take about three (3) weeks to complete. There will be delays and disruptions to local traffic but it is unavoidable. Sydney Water apologises for the inconvenience and seeks the co operation of residents and motorists. If you can avoid using Sutherland Street over the next three weeks it would be appreciated. Parents wishing to access L’Estrange Park for their children’s sport, if travelling via Wentworth Avenue you should continue along Wentworth Avenue to Botany Road turning right and then right again at King Street.
